FIRST STEPS
On March 1, 1997 was the Opening Concert for the "Art Innovation" centre. The Director, Julian Nedkov, shared the goals and the vision of this organisation, whose priorities are: Reaching the people that do not have personal revelation of Jesus Christ, through the means of the art. And encouraging young Christians to live a radical life for the Lord.
The evening went on with "Horizon" group's live performance.
On March 27, the movie
theatre "Osvobojdenie" (Deliverance), became the host of an Easter
concert, whose purpose was to raise money for the print of a newspaper for
Bulgarian Christian culture and arts with the name "Diary - Art
Innovation" . Tony and Dani Grapes, Milko Tsonov and Praise and worship
teams were among the participants, as well as the band "Garden Tomb"
and the musical "Dancing with Angels" written and directed by Tony
Radoslavov.
May 29 was the date when the first "Diary - Art Innovation" print. It included interviews and presentations of artists and musicians, as well as poetry and articles about figures in the history of Bulgaria, that contributed to the establishing of the Christian faith in the nation.
June 29 was the second issue of the paper.
September 4-6 the first New Generation Contemporary Christian Music Festival was held.
December 27 -
Christmas Concert in the "National Palace of Culture", hall No12, with
the participation of Tony and Dani Grapes, Tsvetan and Amy Ilchovsky and the
musical "Dancing with Angels."
December 31 marked the end of the year with a party around the clock with DJ-s who entertained the teenagers with contemporary christian music. The party went on until dawn and the first hours of 1998.
